Caring Wales projects supported

Crossroads Mid and West Wales offers practical support to carers living in Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys, giving them a vital break away from their caring responsibilities.   They supply trained carer support workers, usually in the home, to relieve the carer for periods of time.  They support over 500 carers per year living in some of the most rural parts of Wales.

Barnardo’s – Young Carers Project

Barnardo’s support young carers across Wales with a range of services and invest around £100,000 into this vital area each year.  The Young Carers Project is aimed at young carers aged 18-24 from Flintshire.  The project provides training and raises awareness through schools, colleges etc to ensure young carers are given the support they need whilst in education.
